But I might be a sucker for punishment now that I think of it. Understanding when it fails and why can be quite enjoyable. I like to think of it as a characteristic of 90s RTS so I work around it and it can actually make the game quite interesting. Like Mythos said, its bad but manageable. At the time it was actually revolutionary, but 20 years of RTS pathfinding improvements leaves lots to be desired. Yeah the path finding was designed with huge limitations at hand during the game's original development. They decided to add queing and also changed the button layout for controlling, with the option to change back, and I'm sure some other things that I'm missing. So you downvoted a HD re-release of Command & Conquer. I would have prefered if they'd reworked the pathfinding before the visual aspect, because this really makes it annoying to play the game imo. They just kinda scatter all over the place whenever you give your units a command. Hell, even if you click to assault a unit, sometimes your units will go over and sit right on top the enemy unit, putting them right next to other enemy units. You click somewhere and your units go scattering all over the place. To me it makes the game near impossible to play.
